XTR115: How to Isolate IRET pin

Part Number: XTR115
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XTR111, XTR110, THS4531, OPA862

Hi every body

I have a 4-20 mA current loop As my circuit input. I want to convert it to a voltage in 0-5 volt range(using MCP601 op amp) in order to feed it to uC ADC, process the value and send the requested output to DAC via SPI.

then DAC output goes to XTR115 input to create the desired 4-20mA output current.

here is the schematic of DAC(MCP4922) and XTR115:

the Out sig. goes to RL that is a 180 ohm coil.

But as I have studied about xtr115, my design will not work as the IRET pin is not float. I think that I have to disconnect XTR115 Iret pin and also MCP4922 Vss pin from GND and connect these two pins to each other.

then:

1. will this work?

2. if I do this does the SPI communication between uC and DAC works properly ?(as there is no common GND pin).

thank you for your hints
