LM358: About Slew rate and GBW measurement conditions

Part Number: LM358

Hi!

Please let me know about Slew rate and GBW measurement conditions in LM358.

1.Vcc

2.Gain

3.Resistance Load

4.Capacitance Load

That's All.

  • Welcome to the e2e forums,

Vs default is 5V, so Vcc is 5V

Gain is 1 for slew rate. GBW is frequency where Vout/Vin of the op amp is unity (0dB) disregarding loop feedback.

RL is open because there is no load stated.

CL is zero because there is no load stated.

  • Dear Ronald-san

    Tahnk you for your relpy.

    Best regards.

  • This old datasheet is pretty sparse on GBP info. The TINA V11 library has an encrypted model that delivers this Aol curve. Looks pretty good actually, the GBP extracted from the 40dB Aol point is about 990kHz. The actual Aol = 0dB crossover projects to a lower GBP due to the higher frequency poles (phase drop shows that clearly) with a Aol = 0dB at about 886kHz. That is actually probably more realistic, but the 990kHz in the model is the expected 1Mhz GBP.
