1. Can you refer me some NON-CONTACT IR Temperature Sensors ?

2. I am also looking for reference design TLV333 connected with that sensor.

Hi Manoj,

I noticed that the following repy via E2E about TMP006 and TMP007 sensors.

The TMP007 (and TMP006) was/were discontinued in 2017, not recently. The PDN was issued on December 6th, 2017, and a lifetime buy was not offered.

You should have received the PDN via your distributor at that time.

We don't have another IR sensor like that, however we do have many other temp sensors - you can see all and choose which one(s) might work for you, from here:

You will need to find the Infrared Thermopile Sensor based sensor. Then, we can help you answer questions regarding the TLV333.

I have found many ZTP-148SR is one of those. I have attached the datasheet also. Can you help.

Hi Manoj,

I am not sensor application engineer. I think that it is the best if you are able to post another inquiry in our sensing group.

A typical thermopile sensor has a broad band %transmittance vs. wavelength response (I saw an error in the datasheet, wavelength axis is um or kOhm on p.4). For measuring a surface temperature or human body temperature, the front of sensor has a narrow band optical filter (so the measuring circuit cut down other unwanted IR reflection from "heated" object. Also, the field of view of such sensor is narrow as well.

If you are able to find TMP006 or TMP007 user manual online, you are able to get ideas how they are configured optically. I tried our website and these data are no longer available. I also checked Mouser and Digikey, the sensor information is no longer available.

Hi Manoj,

I was told that we do not have non-contact temperature sensors at this time. You may be able to find other sensors on the market. The non-contact temperature sensor is very popular on the market today, and it will be the best option if you find a sensor that is specifically used for the application. I don't recommend to figure out the required optical components for IR thermopile sensing measurement (it will be costly), unless you want to make a better one or it is in academic interest. In other words, buy thermopile sensor that is specifically tailored for nno-contact temperature measurements.
