OPA129 Clarifications

Hi Team,

Our customer is using the old OPA129 in their existing design. They are looking to migrate on active products but would like to clarify some things for comparison purposes. The OPA129 datasheet uses the asterisk (*) symbol in its typical characteristics for the "P" and "U" variants. Just for confirmation, what does this symbol correspond to? Is this something that represents the adjacent characteristics, same as the "PB" and "UB" variants?

    Hello Jejomar,

    When you view the OPA129 Electrical Specifications tables in the datasheet and you see an asterisk " * " in a column it means that the OPA129P and OPA129U standard grade devices have the same specification value as the OPA129PB and OPA129UB higher grade devices. You will note that for many of the parameters the asterisk is in place for the "typical" value, but for others it may be for "minimum" or "maximum" values instead.
