Hi,
Thank you for contacting us for recommendations in you projects.
Could you provide the device specs that you need for each stage?
Also, I recommend to take a look at our Audio Portal for details of our different products:

We currently have a 3W console amplifier and a 10W patient amplifier. I've tried looking at your website, but it seems there are many choices. The current audio quality for the console is poor - distorted and noise from the system. I noticed amplifier parts that are differential and am thinking they might offer an advantage. I've also seen piezo speakers which I think are used in mobile phones. We had one comment why our audio doesn't sound like an iPhone. The patient speakers are 4-8 ohm small home theater speakers. I'll attach a block diagram.
Your problems are unlikely to be caused by the amplifier parts themselves, but by the circuit design and the entire system design.
The block diagram is barely readable, and does not show any details.
If you do not already know what exactly causes the problem in the old design, you will not be able to create a better design. You need to hire somebody who has experience with this.
I still need to redesign the board and would like part recommendations. The current patient speaker amp is mono, we would like to have stereo if possible. Even though the current part is 10W, I suspect a 12V rail limits the power. The console speaker definitely is the major source of our distortion issues. The new console speaker amp needs to work well with the new speaker. The console mic pre-amp seems to work well. I wonder if some sort of ALC or AGC with regulated mic bias might improve performance.Thank you.
Hi,
As you correctly mentioned previously, there are many choices and parameters in our Audio Product folder. So, in order to offer you the best audio devices, could you provide a summary or a table with all the characteristics you need per device?
Something like below:
Amplifier / Preamp:
- Number of channels.
- Output power.
- Input type.
- THD + N.
- Output load.
- Operating temperature.
- Additional features.
This would be really helpful in order to offer you the best device option.
Best regards,

Hi,
I'm closing this e2e thread due to the inactivity. However, please feel free to provide details or more information so we can offer you our best options. We will be glad to help you.

Sorry for late reply.
Here is a quick summary:
Mic Preamp: 1 channel, Line level, Electret, THD not critical, ~10kohm (volume control), 0-70C.
Console amp: 1 channel, 3W, Line Level, THD not critical, ~4-32ohms, 0-70C.
Patient amp: 2 channels, 10W, Line Level, THD not critical, ~4-8ohms, 0-70C.
As I mentioned earlier, the power levels I mentioned are the ratings for our current parts. But they are operating at 12V so I don't think the patient amp can actually output that amount of power (~2W into 8ohms, ~4W into 4ohms).
Thanks
