I am working on XTR111 for current loop application. Here XTR111 is embedded in a sensor. Sensor is installed in an environment where EMI is predominant. Is it required to shield the XTR111? Does XTR111 functionality affect by EMI conditions? If it is, what special care shall be taken. Please suggest.

You can take a look at the TIDA-01536 XTR11 reference design. Section 2.3.6 provides recommended protection circuitry.
You can also take a look at this blog post that goes into some more detail on protecting 3-wire analog outputs. In the industrial environment devices are susceptible to EMI/RFI interference as well as overvoltage conditions that can cause electrical overstress (EOS) damage. The current transmitter systems need to be designed to be robust and provide immunity to environmental hazards that may lead to electrical overstress or undesired performance. Shielding can also help as current loops will reduce, but not completely eliminate, sensitivities to EMI/RFI.
