I am looking for an evaluation board with the follow specs:

Some key features of this demo circuit include:

• 4-bit digitally controlled 8th order lowpass filter

•fC = 10kHz to 150kHz in 10kHz steps

• 4-bit digitally controlled programmable gain amplifier

• G = 1 to 16 in 1V/V steps

• 100dB attenuation at 2.5 • fC

• Rail-to-rail input and output range

Does TI have a eval board that can meet these specs?

Hi Chuck,

I'm sorry, but we don't have a single board solution for this. TI does offer multiplexer/switch products with evaluation boards, and those could be paired with DIY amplifier EVM boards to test out such a circuit. An 8th order filter would likely be built using a few cascaded amplifiers, and hence the solution would get quite messy quite quickly. For such a specific application as this, you would need to build the circuit. TI does have a very handy Filter Design tool available on the web, as well as our free Spice simulator TINA-TI that you could use to validate your circuit before committing to a PCB. One other product you might find interesting is the PGA281; however, you are still faced with a tough filtering challenge.
