AMC1311: Isolation forum

Hi,

For one of the application ,I am measuring the temperature of the PCB which is on HV side with NTC thermistor, for safety concern am using AMC1311 for isolation purpose. Could you please confirm is my approach correct using AMC1311 or else can you please provide an reference/suggestion for the same .

The block diagram is attached below

If there is an excel calculator for the below temperature sensing application available ,can you please share which would be helpful for further approach.

Hi Kishore,

Your block diagram looks fine in theory. Keep in mind that the input of the AMC1311B is 0-2V, ideal for DC voltage measurements.

Unfortunately I do not have a reference design or excel calculator to share for this particular application.

Since I need a different output voltage for temperature sensing without an isolation from input to output side, could you please suggest IC part number for this same application

Hi Kishore,

I apologize but I do not understand your question.

You do not need isolation now? Are you looking for an ADC or an amplifier?

Hi Alex,

I do not require isolation. Am looking for an amplifier. The thing is I need to generate two output signals from single ended input signal for the same temperature measurement application so i request to suggest the IC part number for the same.

Hi Kishore,

Best way to get a recommendation would be to post on the amplifier forum. I'm not sure what IC would be best.
