Bryson Wicker

We are seeking an amplifier that can generate that detects and scales a -10V–10V signal (sent from a LabView compatible DAQ). The signal needs to be scaled a -120V–120V in order to output a -2A–+2A current. Can we use the E2E channel for this application? How could we go about accomplishing this?

You can try Bryson, but you need to include the speed and load impedance requirements. Also, make sure you are aware of Apex options. Your requirement is a bit extreme and you quickly run into thermal issues.

Well there are some OPA5xx parts that are higher voltage, but for real power output at your voltages, I again suggest you will need to consider some of the Apex Microelectronics devices - here in Tucson as well and largely ex BurrBrown folks. The main issue becomes power dissipation which they address in their somewhat boutique solutions.
