OPA2376: Two Different Audio

Hello,

When there is two different input, is there any concern due to channel separation (0.5mV/V)? Or any recommendation on how to limit concerns?

When the IC is off, does input pins (IN_A) affect to audio signal even if there is coupling cap?

Thanks!

  • JDJ,

You should not be concerned because there is a typo in the OPA376 datasheet showing dc channel separation of 0.5mV/V;  in fact, it is 0.5uV/V (126dB) - see graph in Fig 20.

  • Thank you for answering this!

For my second questions, when IC is off, does input pins (IN_A) affect to audio signal even there is coupling cap?

Can you confirm this does not have an impact?

    Thanks,

    Jack

  • Jack,

I am not sure what you mean by IC is off -  did you turn off supply voltage and if so is it 0V or it is floating?  You cannot disable one channel in OPA2376.  In any application related question, please attach a schematic and pose your question referencing it to your circuit diagram.
