Square wave with 1-2ns Rise Time

Dear Team,

I want to generate square wave but there are some challenges. Rise time should be less than 2ns as well as fall time (for 0V to 1.2V).

Frequency in the range of 2.4Mhz to 3Mhz

Load 50Ohm.

I am searching for a solution I found these ones

schmitt trigger

programmable PLL clock synthesizer

May I know your thoughts,cost is an important factor here.

Hello Hari,

The programmable PLL clock synthesizer could be a viable solution, but a simpler option would be a sine to square wave clock buffer such as the CDC3RL02YFPR.

These clock buffers should reach all the requirement goals that you have set forth.

Hello Hari,

Yes, there is a IBIS model on the CDC3RL02 product page under design and development. An IBIS model is the tabular form of the data and can be imported into PSPICE.
