XTR111: CURRENT LIMIT ISSUE

Part Number: XTR111

Dear sir,

As per above schematic.....I tested the circuit,

My Sensor voltage is 0.5V to 4.5V

and output set to 4mA to 20mA...based on RSET=2.25k

But at the time of testing my output is limited to 10mA at 2V input, after the 2V the same 10mA will continue.....

What is the reason to produce the output upto 10mA only.....pls justify

  • Hello,

It looks as though your circuit configuration is correct, and I've recreated it in simulation as well.

Do you have a load connected to your current output? Be sure you're measuring the current in series with the load resistor and that there aren't any other paths for the output current to return to GND through that wouldn't go through the ammeter. Can you also double check that your PFET, Q3, is connected with the correct polarity on your board? Drain connected to the load.

    Best,
