LMV321-N: Output Short Circuit Current

Guru 29710 points
Part Number: LMV321-N

Hi Team,

The datasheet shows the following two specification about Output Short Circuit Current.

Which should we take for LMV321-N?
Does blue part indicate -Q1 devices?

Best Regards,
Yaita

  • In revision J of the datasheet, only the lower two lines were present, and applied to all devices (-Q1 or not).

Figure 7-47 appears to contradict the 40 mA values:

    Hello Yaita-san,

I am sorry for any confusion.  I do not think the second two lines are for the Q1 devices, but for all the devices that are not LMV3xx-N.  Since I do not typically cover this part, I was not up to date on the reason for the data sheet revision.

I am reaching out to my colleagues to see who was involved with making the change so they can make any necessary clarifications.  I hope to have an answer for you tomorrow.

    Regards,
    Daniel

  • Hi Daniel-san,

    Thank you for your support.
I will wait for your team's feedback.

    Best Regards,
    Yaita

  • Hello Yaita-san,

The bottom two lines you boxed in blue are for the automotive version of the device. The top lines boxed in red are for the commercial version of the device.

    Thank you,
