AMC1301: Settling Time after power-on?

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer will be using AMC1301DWVR on their design in which it will be off most of the time. He will need to turn it on occasionally to take a quick reading.

What is the safe settling time for this device after power-on?

Hi Art,

Exactly how are they powering up and down the AMC1301? If it's the secondary side, you should be good with ~3uS.

Hello Tom,

Both sides will be powered off and then on periodically to save power. Do you also have the settling time when both sides are powered up at the same time?

Hi Art,

It would be on the order of ~4-5uS. This condition has not been full characterized, so I only have ball park figures to give you.
