Hi,

In one of our new instrument development, we are using LMP7721 as precision amplifier. We are planning to use an electrode/ biosensor and LMP7721 as potentiostatic circuit. Could you confirm that LMP7721 will be suitable for this kind of applicaitons

Hi Naga,

whether the LMP7721 is suited depends on the final circuit and the installed sensor.

You might want to show us your schematic?

Hi,

We used the similar circuit as given in application notes. But the sensing is different. We want to sense (antibody & antigen) reaction of two liquids. will this ic be used for this kind of sensing?

LMP7721 is our best op amp in terms of the input bias current with typical Ib of just 3fA, which is critical in the transimpedance applications in order to minimize an error. Please review the following blog covering the topic of transimpedance amplifier design:
