Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV3201
Hi,
By looking at the rise time from datasheet it was written as 1.7ns.
So looks like I can pass a 10MHZ clock signal to the input of an TLV4041R5.
Thanks,
Manikanta

Rise and fall time are good to look at but you really need to look at the prop delay of the device to determine what input frequency can be applied to the comparator. As a conservative rule of thumb, you can take the inverse of the sum of (trise + tfall+ tpLH + tpHL) to determine a max input frequency. Since prop delay is already 360ns, applying an input of 10MHz with a period of 100ns will not work since that is much faster than the response time of the comparator.

Chuck,
Thanks for the confirmation.
Can you please suggest any other family of Comparators with the capable of driving 10MHZ clock signal.
Package can be anything, not only SOT23-5.

The TLV4041 is the fastest comparator with an integrated reference.
For 10 MHz, you need to use a faster comparator like the TLV3201 and generate the reference voltage externally.
