OPA124UA topside markings

I have recently obtained a quantity of OPA124UA devices for a historic product. The parts are marked as "BB" (Burr Brown). I need to know the date code and country of manufacture. The top side markings are:

A BB OPA

124U K

6AAQ5Z

Would you be able to advise me from the above information please? Also, can you confirm that the parts are RoHS complaint?

With thanks,

Daryl.

  • Hi Daryl,

TI is unable to provide product verification of date and lot code information due to the problems with counterfeiters. If we release the information and the counterfeiters access that information they know we they have a good codes to use on fake product.

If you purchased the product directly from TI, or one of the Texas Instruments authorized distributors, the product should be genuine. Unless the product is really old (<~2005), it should be RoHS compliant.
