AMC1300B-Q1: Input range detection

Part Number: AMC1300B-Q1

Dear sir,

we are using AMC1300B for our voltage measurement circuit.

We are using resistors to make the protentional divider network to get the 250mV to AMC1300B.

Our queries are,

1. How to detect the over input voltage (>250mV) to the AMC1300B?

2. If the input voltage is increased beyond 250mV, does it damage the AMC1300B or upto what voltage level it will withstand ?

Thanks & Regards,

Rajasekaran.

  • Hi Rajasekaran,

There is additional input range, up to 320mV beyond 250mV where the device will continue to output a voltage that is proportional to the input voltage. An example is shown in figure 22. The absolute maximum ratings table shows what voltage levels will damage the part. For the input, exceeding VDD1 by more than 500mV can damage the device.
