INA240: About Low noise current amplifier

Part Number: INA240
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA301, INA181, INA290, INA280

Hi

I'm looking for a low noise current amplifier.

The current detection data will be  captured by the ADC in a 200kHz cycle.

Therefore, we think that our requirement is that the characteristics of CMRR are good at 200kHz.

I thought that INA240A had good CMRR characteristics.

Are there any other current detection amplifiers with even better characteristics?

However, since it uses a 3.3V power supply, I would like a product that can also be used at 3.3V.

Best regards

Naoki

  • Hi Naoki,

If the PWM rejection feature is not required, you may look into other high speed current sense amplifiers such as INA301, INA181. If this is for unidirectional measurement, you may also check out INA290, INA280. But there are potentially more.

Here is a link to the analog current sense amplifier selection tool. You may set the filters according to your requirement; it will help zoom in on a few suitable candidates.
