Part Number: LMP7300
I set up LMP7300 as instructed in datasheets. I used negative hysteresis mode. When input voltage is ramping up, output goes from low to high when scaled -IN voltage surpasses 2.04V reference. Negative hysteresis is set up in such a way so that the output goes from high to low when scaled input voltage drops below the programmed hysteresis value VIL. VIL is programmed to be 1.926V. This represents 114mV difference from Vref (max limit is 130mV), and is translated to 20V difference between actual trip points.
Observed in simulations and bench testing, output of LMP7300 goes high when scaled input voltage is above 2.04V reference (as expected). However, during ramp-down, the output goes low again when scaled input voltage drops below 2.04V reference, and disregards hysteresis programming completely. (Expected is that the output goes low at 1.926V programmed by hysteresis-programming resistors)
Any advice towards resolution would be appreciated.
