THS4302: PSPICE

Part Number: THS4302

Hi,

Good day.

Our customer have reported a bug in THS4302 model. Kindly find the description below.

"if you connect a zero resistor to ground to any pin, that is the same than ground the pin, not for this model

I was trying to change the gain of the op amp to get better phase response up to 1.5 GHz
also, I am afraid the model doesn't follow the expected phase change per the chart in the page 6 of the datasheet

so the problem is: if I connect the pin (-) to ground, I get the expected gain
though the phase doesn't sound right, but lets put that part aside now
what is the initial problem? the phase at 1.5 GHz rotated 70 deg or so"

We would appreciate your input on this and your help. Thank you.

Regards,

Ced

  • Hello Cedrick,

Would customer be able to provide their pspice project? or provide pictures of their schematic and the issues they are seeing?

The SSBW seems to match pretty closely with figure 2 of the datasheet. Also pspice doesn't allow for 0-ohm resistors, this can be done in TINA however.
