Hello,

We are using ADV7123KSTZ140 video DAC. We would like to drive differential VGA outputs of the DAC with 75 ohm termination through 20m cable. We are using differential outputs with 75 ohm termination. Please suggest Buffer IC which drives differential VGA signals . Attached schematics snapshots for reference

Hi,

We are mainly looking for differential to differential buffer.

You can also suggest single ended buffer for reference.

Hello Rudrappa,

Here are a list of products with both output types. These are all aimed at the higher frequency setting of the DAC. Also for a DAC buffer, it is important to have a RR output amplifier. You can filter these products down even more by using the left side filter column. If you are looking for single-ended precision amplifier buffer which will have better DC performance but at lower frequency bandwidth, I can forward you to our precision amplifier group.

Hello Rudrappa,

Not too sure why this product didn't show up in the product list that I shared in my last reply, but the LMH6611 is a good one to look at as well and is commonly used as a DAC buffer. I will now forward this thread to our precision amplifier group.

Hi Rudrappa,

What BW of precision op amp are you looking for your application? LMH6611 is high speed op amp, and it is best supported by HS Op Amp team. Our team is supporting precision op amp with BW<50MHz. I need to know the op amp application requirements.

1. BW of op amp as buffer.

2. Op Amp supply voltage rail and driving current. 3.3V?

3. Low Voffset range, Iq, drift information etc.

Hello,

1. We need BW to be greater than 250MHz

2. Opamp supply voltage rail +/-3.3V but it should support till 10v single ended

3. Lower offset voltage

please confirm if the IC's (LMH6611) differential output signals be terminated to VGA connector as per VGA pinout details
