LMH2110: Technical document on Log Conformance Error

Guru 11860 points

Part Number: LMH2110

Hello,

Could you please provide us a technical document on the Log Conformance Error?

If there is no document, please explain the Log Conformance Error.

Thanks.

  • Hi JH,

Log conformance error is the max deviation of the measured transfer from an ideal logarithmic function. For the measurement of log conformance error we use a linear-in-dB model and calculate the difference between the measured data and the linear model. Section 8.2.1.2.1.2 of the LMH2110 data sheet goes into detail on how we determine the linear model and calculate the log conformance error.

A common use of the log conformance error is to find the dynamic range of the device. The dynamic range is usually found within a range ±1 dB log conformance error.
