Part Number: TLE2426

Dear Texas Instruments

I purchased TLE2426CLPR via Digikey.

I thought that TLE2426CLPR is TO-92 (straight lead (leg)),

but I got formed lead type instead of straight lead type.

If I'd like to get straight type, what part number should I select ?

I see. This is data transfer errors. The digikey's english version seems ok.

But I could not understand the difference between lead straight and lead formed.

There are no performance differences between two parts, except differences in formed leads (same die internally). You may use a pair of needle plier and reform the leads by hand, if the quantities are small.

The formed or straight leads are not designed to be bent continuously. You may be able to reform the leads in 3-5 times. Please avoid to bent a lead >90 degree in angle, or you may only have 1-2 times before the mechanical stress weakens at the bent interface. In other words, the micro factures at the bent interface will be apparent and it will weaken the joints or broke eventually.

I think that digikey link in English site and product descriptions are correct. .

There are only two package options in LP3, either TLE2426ILPR or TLE2426ILP, see the TLE2426's datasheet

I am unable to find additional information to say (with 100% certainty) that TLE2426ILPR is designated as formed leads, but all the published information indicates this is the case. Since you are receiving the Formed Leads package when you ordered TLE2426ILPR via digikey site in Japan, I am fairly certain that TLE2426ILPR is designated as Formed Leads type.

TLE2426ILP: Bulk packing (1,000 pcs) à straight lead

TLE2426ILPR: Tape and reel packing (2,000 pcs) à formed lead.
