DSP IC suggestion

Hello,

Myself Simran Thakur working as a hardware design engineer. We need your suggestion to select a DSP IC evaluation kit to cancel acoustic feedback between mic and speaker. So we can feet mic and speaker in the small enclosure as per our project requirement.

Simran,

There are quite a few DSPs that can be used for implementing AEC. The most popular DSPs to achieve this operation is the C6748 and C6747 DSP which is low power and has good integration of peripherals. If you need lower performance DSP, then 16 bit C5517 and C5535 devices can also be used. The current AEC solution that we support on this platform is from ADT. The performance of AEC-HD Is discussed here:

You can check the performance of these cores with that AEC solution to make a choice.
