ONET 8511T

Hello,

I want to measure current pulses from a photodiode that are 5 ns wide and occur every 10Hz .

The current pulses can range from microamps to nanoamps.

I need an amplifier that should be easy to connect ,  and also  detect these short pulses,

I selected ONET 8511T.

My question is-

a. if the bandwidth is in GHz , will that be good enough to measure a nanosecond pulse.

b. Any other/better  suggestions?

Thanks
