OPA832: Importing to ADS.

Hello everyone,

I was trying to import the PSpice model of OPA832 downloaded from (https://bit.ly/3gGwr5A) into ADS and simulate the result. However, I encountered an error displayed as "ADS-syntax parser error in '<ADS netlist>', line 90: syntax error".

Furthermore, in the imported schematic file of OPA832, I noticed that the pin labels are different from those mentioned in the datasheet.

Hi Aaditya,

Are there ADS specific functions you need to use? If not, I would suggest using PSpice for TI or TINA-TI as Kai suggested. Both are free on TI.com

Thank you for your suggestions, however, I have already verified the simulations with TINA-TI and it's fine. As Sam mentioned, I need to simulate with ADS for some specific purpose.

Did you use the ADS netlist translator to import the device netlist?

Yes, I did and able to import in ADS schematic, however, as aI mentioned before there occurs an error message as "ADS-syntax parser error in '<ADS netlist>', line 90: syntax error".

Hi Aaditya,

I think you may want to explore the ADS resources for debugging the netlist import tool. They have some fairly extensive literature available online for this. If you compare the ADS netlist to the PSpice netlist you may actually be able to spot the syntax error as well.
