INA228: No ACK Response

Hi,

I connected A1 and A0 to VS means its address will be 100101 (0x45).

INA228 response with NACK after sending address (100101).

what could be the possible reason for this?/

plz help.

0x45 is not 100101 but 1000101.

Please note that the first byte of the I²C transaction includes not only the address but also the R/W bit.

How did you program the I²C master? Can you show an oscilloscope trace?

Hello Kishore,

As Clemens noted, the address 0x45 is 0b1000101. If fixing the address and using R/W bit does not work for you, then please share a scope shot and programming details per Clemens's suggestion.
