Hi Team,
If the (noninverting) input (pin 2) gets a voltage in the range of +/- 2,4 .. 3,5 V I see a corresponding output as expected only in the negative range. The positive voltage is limited to appx. 2,4V even if the input is above 2,4V. could this behavior caused by a non-connected Thermal Pad?

Hi Mark,
OPA187 series are not RRI (rail to rail input) amplifier, but it is RRO output amplifier, See the captured image below. If the application's output is required to go above 2.4V, then the supply rail needs to be approx. 5Vdc or higher, and Vcm needs to be higher approx. V+ - 2 > 2.4V or V+ > 4.4Vdc (low side of Vcm is ok).
