TPA3251: Slave Mode Operation

Hi,

A customer asked us a question about TPA3251.
Q. Can TPA3251 operate in slave mode, supplied clock to OSC_IOM and OSC_IOP terminals from a device which is not TPA3251 like a switching regulator?

Hi Akio,

Yes this is possible. Just follow the data sheet on the pin ratings and provide a differential square wave with 50% duty cycle to the pins with a 3.3V peak to peak amplitude.
