TAS5751M: Whether power ground and digital ground need to be isolated?

Part Number: TAS5751M

HI TI

Whether the TAS5751M's power ground need to be isolated from other modules signal ground (such as CPU、DDR )? Please  give me  reasons and some tips, thank you! If there is a relevant verification test, please also provide some test results.

  • Hi Yongxue,

We don't recommend users to seperate the GND. Single GND is good enough as soon as the output return loop and the PVDD current loop is as tight as possible. And in this way, the thermal performance is even improved. Please refer to our TAS5751M EVM design.

    Best regards,

    Shawn Zheng
