OPA2604: single supply condition

Guru 29720 points
Part Number: OPA2604

Hi Team,

I believe OPA2604 is operable under single supply V+=45V, V-=0V (GND) condition.
Is my understanding correct?
I would like to confirm just in case.

Best Regards,
Yaita / Japan disty

  • Hi Yaita,

Yes the OPA2604 will operate in single supply with +45V. The +/-24V means the device can operate in single supply up to 48V.

    Regards,
    Zak
  • Yaita,

Zak is correct in his response but I would like to bring to your attention that due to current quality issue with OPA2604, it now ships only under the waver specifying that the maximum total supply voltage should not exceed 40V instead of 48V specified in the datasheet.  This quality problem should be fixed in the next few months at which point OPA2604 will meet again maximum supply voltage limit of 48V (or +/-24V).

  • Marek,
Has the quality issue with the OPA2604 been resolved yet? Will the lead time be shorter? I need the +/-24V supply and have not found a replacement for the OPA2604.

  • Sjoman,
The issue has been resolved BUT we are still in the process of conducting re-qualification life test, which may take up to two months before the fixed material is available to order.
