Hi, I have a question about flicker noise in precision lab.
In the lecture, he normalized enf like above equation.
What do you mean exactly the meaning of normalizing like above?
is this some kind of process to calculate the value of slope?
How come normalizing makes above graph function to [e.n.normal * {1/root(f)}] ?

don't know where you have this text from. But the correct term is "normalized to a bandwidth of 1Hz" and not "normalized to 1Hz".

What this equation does is calculates the voltage noise along the 1/f curve at 1Hz. For example, if we look at the exercises and solutions for noise video 3 we see that the OPA827 is used. Step "C" in the exercises calculates the voltage noise of the OPA827 at 1Hz to be 19nV. If we look the noise curve in the OPA827 datasheet we see that at 1Hz the voltage noise is ~19nV.

Hi Yun,
After normalizing the voltage noise to 1Hz, you can then use that same equation to calculate any point along the 1/f region of the noise curve.
