Hello Team,
My customer is trying to install code composer v9.0.1 on M1 MacBook Pro. Download and decompress the zip file and try to run the executable file but the mac says that it can't open the file. Is there an incompatibility issue with M1 Macs? Is there a workaround to get this specific version of CCS installed to the device? They need CCS v9.0.1 as that’s the only version that works with the board they are using. But this version doesn’t seem to want to install on M1 mac. Is there a workaround for this? Or an incompatibility issue?
Regards,
Renan
Hello Renan,
CCS 9.x is not supported on M1 Macs. The customer needs to use current versions of CCS, especially if their Mac is running Monterey
If the customer needs to use CCS 9.x, then they should use a system that supports it:
https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide_9.3.0/ccs_overview.html#system-requirements
Thanks
