PCM1754-Q1: Difference between PCM1754TDBQRQ1 and PCM1754DBQR

Part Number: PCM1754-Q1

Hi team,

Our assigned customer considers to use PCM1754TDBQRQ1 instead of PCM1754DBQR due to supply issue. I have questions about this.

1) Are these have same die? Or just a difference at test process and qualification process?

2) What is the difference of characteristics other than the absolute temperature range?

3) The "T" suffix at automotive grade part means extended temperature range, correct? If so, what does the "T" stand for? exTended?

Best regards,

Hideki

  • Hello Hideki,

This is what i could gather regarding your question. The Q1 version has a different test flow due to the automotive qualification, and as we have a wider temperature range specified the test limits are likely tighter.  If they are looking to replace the catalog version with the auto version for a catalog application, then I do not see any issue.  If it is an auto application and they want to use the catalog version, then they should note the narrower temperature range.

I don’t know what the T is for.  I think all the auto versions of the PCM175x have the T.

    Regards,
