Probe Points GUI in Pure Path Studio for TAS3308

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS3308

Hello,

Probe Points GUI is able to collect data in real-time from TAS3308 and display the signal  as a chart/graph. This data is collected at a maximum refresh rate of 15Hz. When I try to see a 1kHz signal, it looks choppy because it is being undersampled. Is there any other tool / component in PurePath to 'view' / 'probe' / 'watch' signals without losing resolution?

What does a fixed point level of 25000 shown in Probe Points GUI mean in analog domain?

Thanks,

Shyam Nallabolu.

  • Shyam,

That's what we have in PPS that captures real-time data, frankly it can only give a rough idea of what your stuff is doing.  For algorith development/debugging, better use IDE, try to simulate the scenario.

25000 in probe point GUI is 25000/65536 = 0.3814697265625 in digital domain, which is 2v*0.3814697265625= 0.762939453125v in analog.
