TAS5634: LC filter

Hi Team,

Tas563X EVM LC filter is a thin film capacitor. My customer wants to replace it with X7R capacitor. Will this affect the performance parameters of tas563X?

Hi Eric

It shouldn't affect the sound performance. But the TA5634's output voltage is usually very high, we don't recommend to use a ceramic capacitor. If our customer insist to do it, let them check with their capacitor supplier whether it can withstand the working conditions.
