TAS5518 & TAS5614A - about PSVC function

TAS5518 can regulate volume with modulation of power supply voltage of output stage. It is very good. But I read datasheet on TAS5614 recomendate voltage supply between 18 and 36 V. It is only 6 dB of volume change. In datasheet of TAS5518 is written  only 12, 18 or 24 dB PSVC is supported. Is it possible to use PSVC in this pair?
