TPA2005D1-Q1: replacement of TPA2005-q1

Part Number: TPA2005D1-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2005D1, TPA2011D1, TAS2563, TAS2562

Hi Expert,

Our customer currently uses TPA2005-Q1 but the output power is not enough. They are looking for replacement. The output power needs to be 8W, and about the shift, they don't want much design change. Do you have pin2pin device for TPA2005-Q1? Or do you have next generation of TPA2005-q1? Also any other recommendation with small schematic change is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot for help!

  • Hi Elec,

An option for higher power compared to TPA2005D1 could be TPA2011D1.
Although if you need up to 8W that would require a different solution. That amount of power requires either a higher supply voltage, or a device with integrated boost (some solutions are up to 6W like TAS2563/TAS2562).
