Here is the problem I met during developing PCM5242:
I config GPIO5 as SDOUT and tried to control its volume through register 60 61 62, however, which worked on line out but didn't work on SDOUT(GPIO5). During checking the datasheet of PCM5242, I found a description of how to control volume of SDOUT(GPIO5) in section 8.6.1.3:
From the description in the figure above we can see "By default, the SDOUT is not linked to the volume control registers on Page 0 / Register 60, 61, 62. However, it is possible to configure the SDOUT component in Purepath studio to mirror that register.". As what I know, there're not appropriate Purepath studio which supports PCM5242 now. So, is there any methods to control the volume of audio stream through GPIO5?
