TAS5634: TAS5634 VS TAS5631

Part Number: TAS5634
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5631,

Hi Team,

For 200WX2/4Ohm  , TAS5634 can work continuous 180 seconds on BTL mode,  How about TAS5631? which solution would working longer( same heatsink size and same power supply)  ? any difference on THD ?

Thanks and regards

  • Hi Eric

TAS5631's efficiency is a little better than TAS5634, so with the same working conditions, TAS5631 should be better.

which solution would working longer( same heatsink size and same power supply)  ? any difference on THD ?

The only way they can use is to reduce the PWM frequency, no doubt it would affect the THD, they need to test to find a balanced position.
