TAS5806M: PVDD and Hybrid mode

hey experts,

the datasheet says at cahpter 9.4.6.3:

To use the Hybrid Modulation, users need to enter the system's PVDD value on the
TAS5806M PPC3 App.

I assume, because PPC3 needs the voltage of PVDD, also the chip itself needs to know about it. Because I do not use (and do not have PPC3) I would like to know, which registers needs to be setup with the PVDD voltage in which format to be able to switch to hybrid mode. The datasheet is no help... As always with TI's datasheets, if the is an holy application, the datasheet lacks so much informations.

Hello Micha,

We recommend using PPC3 to configure the TAS58xx, if you provide your email i can provide access to the software.

The Hybrid mode PVDD configuration uses 2 4-byte registers at Book 0x8C, Page 0x2D starting at register 0x08 and 0x0c. The calculation used for these registers to be configured for the appropriate PVDD value for hybrid mode isn't something that can be easily shared, so our recommendation is to use PPC3 to generate these values and the header file to configure the device.
