PCM1808-Q1: Analog input

Part Number: PCM1808-Q1

Hello,

it is posted here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/audio-group/audio/f/audio-forum/1076843/pcm1808-q1-center-voltage-input-range

"DC blocking capacitor in series with the input - In this case the device self biases the inputs at Vref (0.5Vcc)"

I am not sure if I understood it correctly: In a 5V supply application with a DC blocking capacitor, the input is biased by ADC at 2.5V.

Besides, the datasheet shows that analog input voltage can be 3VDC.

Does it mean the max. Vpp of any input AC signal can be 3V? After the DC blocking capacitor the actual voltage ranges between 1V and 4V in VinR/L pin?

Kind regards,

Neo
