I have a customer with an application where the TPA3106 is not good enough.

He is looking for a class-D amp that is capable of ultrasonic tones (> 90 khz). Therefore the PWM clock must be 450 khz or higher.

Can you help me with a product selection!

    Hi, Saeb,

    We have looked at this before, maybe lower frequencies. The loop does start to tail off, but there is still some response. 

    The best bet is to get an EVM into your customer's hands and let him verify the performance meets his requirements.

    Another chip to look at is TAS5611. It has a wider bandwidth than the TPA3106D1 for HD audio.
