TAS5722L: TAS5722L does not run on our board

Part Number: TAS5722L

We have on our board a TAS5722L. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Only a short crack noise comes from the speaker.

We suspect that the error is in the hardware, since we did the following test. We separated the I2C and only supplied the TAS5722L with data via I2S. No sound from speaker. Then we redirected the I2S to the EVAL board (TAS5722LeVM). We also separated the I2C on the evaluation board. A tone comes out of the speaker.

On our board we observe the following behavior. The TAS5722L reports OCE. We reset the error via I2C (toggle SDZ bit). We trigger at the moment when the SDZ bit is set to 1 again [OSZI1.png]. Yellow = VCOM/Pin32. Pink = FAULTZ/Pin2. Blue = Speaker + vs GND.

What we also observe is that in the moment before the OCE, the voltage at the output seems to increase. The following recording [OSZI2.png] shows the voltage at the output (speaker + vs speaker -) from the start of the output to the OCE. Pink = voltage over the speaker.

Can you help us? Do we have an error in the schematic or layout? Or are we doing something else wrong?
