TAS2557EVM: How do I disable OCP on TAS2557?

Dear Engineer,

My TAS2557 EVM is controlled by External MCU (STM32) wiring I2C and I2S Interface, not using PPC3.

I'm using TAS2557EVM on Mode2 Scenario (PCM Input Playback + PCM IVsense output).

When I play music, Amp is shutdown if audio volume is increased a lot.

We guess that it could be OCP,

But we'd like to input audio source with higher volume enough.

So, could you please let me know how to disable OCP if it is possible?

Hi SeungKyu,

The OCP is not intended to be turned off. Turning it off won't fix your volume problem because once it is loud enough the amp is at a high risk of damage. How much power do you need to deliver to the speaker?
