TAS5828M: SDOUT

Part Number: TAS5828M

Hi There,

SDOUT is a feature of the TAS5828M that we will use for subwoofer output.

1.Can this be configured to be SPDIF format?
2.In the case we use AutoDetect for input sample rate, then how can we use the SDOUT feature?
Let me explain: Our I2S input is 192kHz. Internal DSP runs at 96kHz with auto-detect to run the internal SRC. If we output SDOUT after DSP processing then it will be at the SRC at 96khz rate, not matching the I2S external rate.
How to use it?
Its ok with SPDIF, but if SDOUT is I2S this could be an issue…

Robert
