TLV320DAC3203EVM-K: LabVIEW Runtime not found

Hi Moritaka,

Have you tried to uninstall the software and execute the installer again but in admin mode? This seems to be an issue during installation that is not allowing the supporting software to install along with the GUI.

I verified the same message appears on a working system, so I don't think the NI driver or runtime installation is the issue.

Can you check if you have the associated variables properly setup in your Windows system environment variables?

I found it.
But it's odd that it shows up even though I thought I deleted all related files.
Of course, there is no folder named IVI Foundation in Program Files (x86) or Program Files.

Are you getting any errors during the installation? Other than the "cannot install" dialog?
Are you using an actual PC or is it a virtual machine? I've been trying to install on a virtual machine and I'm having issues, this virtual machine doesn't save anything during restart so I'm still checking if that's the cause of the problems.

I've been repeatedly installing and uninstalling on my side, could you please check and confirm the below:

• If I try to re-install DAC3203 GUI while it's still installed, then I get a similar message like this:

• However if I first uninstall the DAC3203 GUI, then try to reinstall, it shows a different message, and it actually continues with installation:

No other dialogs have appeared.

Both occur under the same conditions.

But, I selected "Run as administrator" and started the TLV320DAC3203EVM-K_CS.exe, but it says "The LabVIEW RunTime engine could not be found." is displayed.

I am pleased to report that I have initialized the PC and the symptoms have been resolved.

Finally,on a different topic, what exactly is the difference between "High Performance Stereo Playback" and "Low Power Stereo Playback" in the figure below?
I couldn't figure it out by looking at the datasheet or the user guide. I would appreciate it if you could tell me.

Thanks for the notice on the installation issue. I was able to install this properly on a fresh new W10 system, but virtual system is still having trouble. At this moment I think this must be something related to the connection to the internet during installation.

Regarding your new question, you can also refer to each of the scripts on the app reference guide sections 4.4 and 4.5. Some of the differences are the PowertTune Mode (PTM_Px) selection, as well as NDAC, MDAC and DOSR divider configuration.

Some of the factors that affect the power consumption are the selection of PowerTune mode and Processing Block. Enabling or disabling the PLL would also contribute to this.
