Part Number: TLV320AIC3120EVM-U

Hi 

I am having issue with TLV320AIC3120EVM-U, software communication. The Leds on the board illuminate, but I get communication error from the the CodecControl.exe in slac366a.

I have went through forums and it seems this is a known issue with windows 11 https://e2e.ti.com/support/audio-group/audio/f/audio-forum/1250454/tlv320aic3120evm-u-communications-error-how-can-i-connect-it

 I even tried the Virtual Machine with win 7 and the problem exists. 
I have tried the 6864.CCDAC310x controller for another codec, TLV320DAC3100EVM just to check the connection status, and it is fine; Connected
Is there any software upgrade or new version that can work with Win 11, ?

    Hi Milad,

    Unfortunately we don't have any software patches to support Win 11 and don't plan on doing so at this time. Also try a virtual machine with Win 10. It's known to work on Win 10 however the virtual machine raises some questions on compatibility. The known solution is to use a physical machine running Win 10.
