Hi TI team,

We have a Audio codec and Class D amplifier requirement for one of our automotive design .Application: Cluster

 

Can you please suggest suitable part  for Audio Codec and Class D amplifier; Below is the block diagram of the application and requirement details

 

 

  • Stereo,
  • 2 speakers,
  • 5W each ,
  • Class D-external amplifier
  • Temperature -40 to +85
  • AEC- Q100 qualified - preferred

    Hi Vidhya,

    Unfortunately we don't have a one chip solution for this. Our stereo codecs only support ~2W max. 

    The TLV320AIC3104-Q1 is a common choice for automotive codec, without knowing more about what kind of features you want.

    For Class-D, the TPA3137D2 supports stereo 6W performance. For an automotive option you can look at the TPA3110D2-Q1. It supports much more headroom than what you need if you're willing to pay for that.
